High School (9th - 12th Grade)
Living In UUville
The goals of Living in UUville are to give youth an opportunity to explore the full meaning of principles of Unitarian Universalism in their lives within an environment that encourages individual initiative as well as teamwork in pursuit of multiple goals. The program activities encourage youth to think about their own religious beliefs that will promote their own spiritual growth.
Meet Sundays @ 11am in the Annex
YRUU (Young Religious Unitarian Universalists)
Sunday evenings we host our YRUU program from 7:00-8:30 here at the church in the High School room. YRUU is under the leadership of our Youth Advisor Andrea Kalvesmaki. The purpose of YRUU is to provide a social, less structured program for our youth where they can interact with other liberal youth who share their values a in supportive and accepting environment.
An important component of YRUU is the annual Mission Trip to one of the Native American reservations in the Four Corners area. The Mission Trip is a meaningful, transformative experience and is open to any youth 9th through 12th Grade.
