Upcoming Sunday Services

In response to the current COVID-19 crisis, First Unitarian Church will be using a multi-platform service schedule.

How to attend in-person Sunday Service

  • We have two services, one at 9am and one at 11am, Sept - May (Switch to Summer Schedule May 29th - Sept 5th)
    • Summer Schedule begins May 29th, one service at 10am (ex June 5 is at 9am), then Summer Forum of Guest Speakers runs June 19th - August 21st)
    • No Religious Education classes held during Summer Schedule, but childcare is available out on the playground from 10am-11am (for those out of diapers through 6th grade)
  • Masks required (Salt Lake County has moved back into the red zone/updated June 18)
We will still be opening doors as we meet for coffee hour after service. We are back to masks required mode, particularly N-95s or something of similar quality.

Children Attending Worship
Children of all ages are welcome to join their families in worship. Their joyful noise and energy remind our church of our past and future.   Additionally, we have two separate rooms(with worship live-streamed) available for families if their smaller humans need more space than the sanctuary or Eliot Hall provides. Children under 3 are asked to stay with their guardians attending in-person worship. Children older than four attending worship need to wear a mask, and show proof of vaccination when possible.

How to attend online Sunday Service
The services will be live-streamed on zoom, with the 11am service followed by Virtual Coffee Hour.  Zoom link is listed on front page of the website. When we switch to one service only at 10am, Virtual Coffee Hour will follow at 11am.
